On June 23rd, the workshop “Expanding Knowledge about Regional Development: Focusing on Two Different Perspectives – A Central European and a South African Approach” took place at the Hotel Marina Atlântico, in Ponta Delgada. This meeting was part of the scientific event “IV International Congress on Sustainable Development – Planning and Governance of Ultra-Peripheral Territories and Low-Density Regions”, organized by Professor Gualter Couto and Professor Pedro Pimentel.
