Filipe Sousa is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Management and Economics, Faculty of Social Sciences, at the University of Madeira (UMa) and an associated member of the Center of Applied Economic Studies of the Atlantic (CEEAplA), a research unit co-founded in 2003 by UMa and the University of Açores (UAc). He holds a PhD in Management at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto (FEP), and his main research interests include topics in the fields of ‘Strategic Management’, ‘Industrial Marketing’, and ‘Theories of the Firm’.
His research outcomes have been presented at some of the most important academic conferences in the Management field, namely the Strategic Management Society (SMS) Conference, the European Group for Organization Studies (EGOS) Colloquium, the Eurasia Business and Economics Society (EBES) Conference, the World Interdisciplinary Network for Institutional Research (WINIR) Conference, and the Industrial Marketing and Purchasing (IMP) Conference.
