We are delighted to invite you to participate in the upcoming Summer Course on Climate Change and Renewable Energy within the Context of Sustainable Development. The Summer Course will be held on July 18th to 28th at Ponta Delgada, S. Miguel Island, Azores Portugal.

 Target Audience

This course is recommended for students and professionals in engineering, economics, administration and management, agronomy, communications, journalism, and environmental sciences, who are working in the energy, transport, oil & gas, industry, agriculture and forestry sectors.

 Learning Outcomes

The course intends to give an updated, integrated, and systemic view of the most relevant aspects of policies and mechanisms facing climate change and energy security.

It also provides good theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the various fields of sustainable energy use, including the use of geothermal energy, hydroelectric power, wind power, solar power, biofuels, energy efficiency, among others.
